This year, Educators for Kids was honored to
award scholarships to two Newark students. Congratulations to Mr. John Costa and Ms. Lydia Santos.
Mr. Costa,
a Newark Science Park High student will be graduating in 2010. He maintains a 4.125 GPA and plans to attend Princeton
University where he will major in Business Administration/Advertising. Mr. Costa has a variety of interests
and is involved in many civic and athletic endeavors.
Ms. Lydia Santos is currently attending Ho-Ho-Kus RETS Institute.
She is studying to become a medical assisant. Ms. Santos would like to further her education and her long term goal
is to become a pediatrician. Ms. Santos is involved in various charity work and has a strong desire to help those
in need.
